Tools and materials:

* New automatic transmission filter (part number: LR029727)
* Automatic transmission pan (if necessary)
* Automatic transmission pan gasket (if necessary)
* Automatic transmission fluid (about 6 liters)
* Funnel
* Rags
* 13 mm wrench
* 17mm wrench
* 6 mm hex key

Steps:

1. Raise the car:

* Place the car on a level surface.
* Use a jack to raise the car.
* Install supports for safety.

2. Drain the automatic transmission fluid:

* Locate the drain plug on the automatic transmission pan.
* Place a drain pan under the drain plug.
* Loosen the drain plug and drain the liquid into the pan.
* Allow the liquid to drain completely.

3. Remove the automatic transmission pan:

* Unscrew the bolts securing the pan to the automatic transmission using a 13 mm wrench.
* Carefully separate the pan from the automatic transmission.
* Pay attention to the pan gasket and replace it with a new one if necessary.

4. Remove the old filter:

* Find the automatic transmission filter in the pan.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the filter using a 6mm hex key.
*Remove the old filter.

5. Install a new filter:

* Place the new filter in place and secure it with bolts.

6. Install the automatic transmission pan:

* Clean the surfaces of the pan and automatic transmission from the old gasket.
* Install a new pan gasket.
* Attach the pan to the automatic transmission and tighten the bolts using a 13 mm wrench.

7. Fill with new automatic transmission fluid:

* Locate the filler hole on the automatic transmission.
* Using a funnel, pour new automatic transmission fluid into the hole.
* Fill about 6 liters of liquid.

8. Start the engine:

* Lower the car and start the engine.
* Shift the gear lever through all gears and return to park mode.

9. Check the fluid level:

* Check the automatic transmission fluid level using the dipstick.
* If necessary, add fluid until the level reaches the appropriate mark on the dipstick.

10. Tighten the drain plug:

* Tighten the drain plug on the automatic transmission pan using a 17 mm wrench.

11. Lower the car:

* Lower the vehicle by removing the jack stands and jack.

Notes:

* It is recommended to replace the automatic transmission filter every 60,000 — 90,000 km.
* If the automatic transmission pan is heavily worn or damaged, it is recommended to replace it with a new one.
* Dispose of old automatic transmission fluid responsibly.
