Materials:

* Kia SP-IV transmission oil (about 4 liters)
* New automatic transmission oil filter
* Automatic transmission pan gasket
* 17 mm socket wrench
* 10 mm socket wrench
* Oil filter puller
*Clean rag or paper towels

Steps:

1. Place the car on a level surface and raise it on a lift or using jacks.
2. Warm up the engine for a few minutes, then turn it off.
3. Remove the engine crankcase protection, if equipped.
4. Clean the surface of the automatic transmission pan around the drain plug.
5. Remove the automatic transmission pan drain plug using a 17 mm socket wrench.
6. Drain the old oil into a clean container.
7. Install a new drain plug and tighten it to the torque specified in the service manual.
8. Remove the automatic transmission pan using a 10 mm socket wrench.
9. Remove the old oil filter and clean the surface where it is installed.
10. Lubricate the O-ring of the new oil filter and install it into the filter housing.
11. Install a new oil filter in the automatic transmission and tighten it by hand.
12. Clean and install the automatic transmission pan, tightening all bolts to the torque specified in the service manual.
13. Fill the automatic transmission with new oil through the filler hole next to the dipstick.
14. Start the engine and let it idle until the oil warms up to operating temperature.
15. Check the oil level using the dipstick and add if necessary.
16. Install the engine crankcase protection, if equipped.
17. Reset the automatic transmission service counter as recommended in the service manual.

Adviсe:

* It is recommended to change the automatic transmission oil every 60,000 – 80,000 km or more often in severe operating conditions.
* Use only oil recommended by the manufacturer.
* Dispose of old oil properly.
