Required tools and materials:

* New transmission oil for automatic transmission (about 5 liters)
* New automatic transmission pan gasket
* Automatic transmission filter
* Hexagon 5
* Square by 8
* Wrench set
* Funnel
*Measuring cup
* Rags

Replacement procedure:

1. Preparation and precautions:

* Make sure the engine and transmission are completely cool.
* Raise the car on jacks and place it on supports.
* Wear gloves to protect your hands.

2. Draining old oil:

* Find the drain plug at the bottom of the automatic transmission pan and place a tray under it to collect used oil.
* Loosen the plug with a 5mm hex and let the oil drain completely.
* Replace the drain plug with a new gasket.

3. Removing the automatic transmission pan:

* Loosen the bolts around the perimeter of the automatic transmission pan with a size 8 wrench.
* Carefully remove the pan, being careful not to spill any remaining oil.
* Remove the old automatic transmission filter.

4. Installing a new filter:

* Apply a small amount of new transmission oil to the O-ring of the new filter.
* Install the new filter in its place.
* Make sure it is completely and correctly installed.

5. Installing the automatic transmission pan:

* Clean the surface of the tray and its attachment points.
* Apply a new gasket to the pan.
* Place the pan in place and tighten the bolts with a 8mm wrench, evenly distributing the force.

6. Filling with new oil:

* Use a funnel to fill the automatic transmission with new oil.
* Fill in about 4 liters of transmission oil.

7. Checking the oil level:

* Start the engine and move the automatic transmission selector to different positions, holding it in each position for a few seconds.
* Return to the park position and remove the automatic transmission oil level dipstick.
* Check the oil level on the dipstick. It should be between the “HOT” and “COLD” marks. If the level is too low, add more oil.
*If the level is too high, drain excess oil through the drain plug.

8. Resetting the oil aging counter:

* When changing the oil, it is recommended to reset the automatic transmission oil aging counter. To do this, use a scanner or a combination of buttons on the dashboard.

9. Final check:

* Make sure all plugs and bolts are properly tightened.
* Lower the vehicle to the ground.
* Check the automatic transmission oil level again after a short trip.
