Materials and tools:

* New automatic transmission fluid (ATF) of the appropriate type
* New automatic transmission pan
* New automatic transmission filter
* Automatic transmission pan gasket
* Funnel
* Pliers
* Ratchet wrench and socket set
* Gloves
* Rags

Instructions:

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface, apply the parking brake and start the engine.
2. Move the transmission selector to all positions (P, R, N, D) for a few seconds to allow ATF to circulate.
3. Turn off the engine and wait a few minutes for the fluid to drain into the pan.
4. Slide under the car and find the automatic transmission pan.
5. Unscrew the pan drain plug using a wrench.
6. Drain the old ATF into a prepared container.
7. Remove the automatic transmission pan and drain the remaining ATF.
8. Replace the automatic transmission filter and pan gasket.
9. Install a new automatic transmission pan and tighten the bolts.
10. Fill in new ATF through the inspection hole on top of the transmission using a funnel.
11. Install the drain plug and tighten it.
12. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.
13. Check the ATF level using the dipstick and, if necessary, add to the required level.
14. Move the gear selector to all positions and return to position P.
15. Check the ATF level again and adjust it if necessary.

Adviсe:

* Use only the type of ATF recommended by the manufacturer.
* Do not overtighten the pan bolts as this may damage the pan.
* Dispose of used ATF properly.
* Check the ATF level regularly and top it up if necessary.
