Required tools:
* Flat head screwdriver
* Phillips screwdriver
Instructions:
1. Place the gear shift lever in Park (P) position.
2. Remove the frame around the gear shift knob. To do this, insert a flathead screwdriver into the gap between the frame and the dashboard and carefully pry it up to release the clips.
3. Unscrew the three Phillips screws that secure the plastic trim on the gear shift knob.
4. Carefully remove the plastic cover.
5. Locate the release button on the underside of the shift knob. This is usually a small red or orange button.
6. Press the unlock button and pull the gear shift knob up. It should come off easily.
Adviсe:
* When removing the frame and plastic trim, be careful not to scratch the instrument panel.
* Make sure the shift lever is in the Park (P) position before removing the handle. This will prevent damage to the transmission.
* If the shift knob becomes stuck, tap the bottom of the shift knob with a rubber mallet to loosen it.
