KIA Rio gearbox modes:

* P (Park) – parking: the transmission is blocked and the parking brake is applied. Used for long-term parking.
* R (Reverse) – reverse: used to move backwards.
* N (Neutral) – neutral: the transmission is not engaged, the car can roll freely.
* D (Drive) – forward movement: the main mode for driving the car.
* OD (Overdrive) – overdrive: used when driving at a constant speed on the highway. Improves fuel economy.
* L (Low) – low gear: used to achieve greater traction on inclines or when driving with a heavy load.
* M (Manual) – manual mode: allows you to manually change gears using the gear selector.

How to use the KIA Rio automatic transmission:

1. Press the brake pedal.
2. Move the gear selector to the desired mode (for example, D for forward).
3. Release the brake pedal.
4. Press the gas pedal to start driving.

Switching to OD and L:

*To shift to OD, press the button on the gear selector.
* To shift to L, move the gear selector to L position.

Using manual mode (M):

* Move the gear selector to position M.
* To change gears up or down, use the gear selector.
* To return to automatic mode, move the gear selector to any position other than M.

Tips for use:

*Always set the parking brake when parking on an incline.
*Do not shift from D to R or vice versa while the vehicle is moving.
* Do not shift to L if the vehicle is moving at high speed.
* Use OD to save fuel when driving on the highway.
*Use L for more traction when driving on inclines or with heavy loads.
