* Automatic transmission pan gasket (Hyundai/Kia part number: 21513-2G100)

Instructions for replacing the automatic transmission filter in Kia Optima 2019:
1. Vehicle installation and safety
* Place the vehicle on a flat, hard surface.
* Apply the parking brake.
* Turn off the engine and let it cool.
2. Disconnecting the battery terminal (optional)
* It is recommended to disconnect the negative (black) terminal of the battery to avoid accidental short circuits.
3. Draining transmission fluid
* Remove the automatic transmission filler cap located on the right side of the engine.
* Place a drain pan under the transmission.
* Unscrew the drain plug of the automatic transmission pan and drain all the fluid.
4. Removing the automatic transmission pan
* Using a wrench, loosen the bolts around the perimeter of the automatic transmission pan.

* Clean the mating surfaces between the pan and the automatic transmission housing.

7. Filling transmission fluid
* Fill about 3 liters of transmission fluid through the automatic transmission filler neck.
* Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes while shifting gears.
* Check the fluid level using the automatic transmission dipstick. Add fluid as needed to HOT level.
8. Resetting the automatic transmission fluid aging counter
* Disconnect the positive (red) battery terminal for 30 seconds.
* Reconnect the battery terminal.
* Insert the ignition key into the lock, but do not start the engine.
* Press the brake pedal and keep it pressed.
* Quickly move the gear selector from P (Park) up through all gears and back to P within 10 seconds.
9. Check for leaks
* Start the engine and check for transmission fluid leaks under the vehicle.
10. Battery terminal installation (optional)
* If the battery terminal has been disconnected, tighten it back.
