Throttle valve adaptation for Kalina automatic transmission

Required tools:

* OBD-II scanner
* Laptop or smartphone with vehicle diagnostic software

Procedure:

1. Connect the OBD-II scanner to the vehicle’s diagnostic connector.

2. Launch the diagnostic software and select the make, model and year of production of Kalina.

3. Go to the ‘Adaptations’ or ‘Special Features’ section.

4. Select the ‘Throttle valve adaptation’ option.

5. Follow the instructions on the scanner screen. Typically the procedure includes the following steps:

* Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.
* Turn off the engine and wait a few seconds.
* Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine.
* Press the accelerator pedal all the way and hold it for 5-10 seconds.
* Release the accelerator pedal.
*Wait a few minutes for the vehicle to complete the adaptation procedure.

6. Start the engine and check that the idle speed is at the correct level.

Notes:

* Make sure your car battery is fully charged.
* Do not interrupt the adaptation procedure.
* If after adaptation the idle speed is still unstable or the vehicle does not respond to the accelerator pedal, the throttle body may need to be diagnosed and repaired.
