I. General provisions
1.1. An electrician who repairs cars belongs to the category of workers.
1.2. He is hired and dismissed from work by order of the General Director on the recommendation of the head of the workshop.
1.3. Reports directly to the head of the workshop.
1.4. His work is guided by:
* current legislation of the Russian Federation;
* Charter and local regulatory documents of the enterprise;
* internal labor regulations;
* this job description.
II. Functions
The main functions of an electrician for car repair are:
* repair of electrical equipment of cars;
* diagnostics of electrical equipment faults;
* replacement and installation of electrical equipment;
* adjustment of electrical equipment after repair;
* performing electric welding work;
* production and repair of electrical wiring harnesses;
* carrying out maintenance and repair of electrical equipment.
III. Job responsibilities
An electrician who repairs cars must:
* carry out repairs of electrical equipment of cars in accordance with established standards and requirements;
* diagnose electrical equipment faults using special equipment and tools;
* replace and install electrical equipment in compliance with safety regulations;
* adjust electrical equipment after repair;
* perform electric welding work in accordance with the requirements of the production instructions;
* manufacture and repair electrical wiring harnesses;

V. Responsibility

VI. Qualification requirements
An electrician for car repairs must have:
* secondary vocational education in the specialty “Electrical installation”;

VII. Working conditions
7.1. The working conditions of an electrician for car repair are determined by the “List of work, during the performance of which preliminary and periodic medical examinations (examinations) of workers are mandatory” (Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation of May 29, 2006 No. 329), as well as current standards and rules of labor protection and electrical safety.
7.2. An electrician who repairs cars has the right to receive free special clothing, shoes and other personal protective equipment.
