Materials:
* Manual transmission with pedal unit, gear shifter and driveshaft
* Clutch kit
* New flywheel
* Release bearing
* Clutch slave cylinder
*Clutch master cylinder
* Clutch line
* New clutch fluid
* Tools for mechanical work
Instructions:
1. Preparation
* Disconnect the battery.
* Raise the car and place it on stands.
2. Removing the automatic transmission
* Remove the driveshaft.
* Disconnect electrical connectors and vacuum tubes.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission to the engine and frame.
* Carefully remove the automatic transmission and set it aside.
3. Installation of manual transmission
* Attach the new flywheel to the crankshaft.
* Install the manual transmission in place of the automatic transmission.
* Tighten the bolts holding the manual transmission to the engine and frame.
* Install the propeller shaft and tighten the bolts.
* Connect all electrical connectors and vacuum lines.
4. Clutch installation
* Install the release bearing into the clutch mechanism.
* Press the clutch pedal to align the bearing.
* Install the clutch disc onto the flywheel.
* Install the pressure plate and tighten the bolts.
5. Installation of the clutch system
* Install the clutch slave cylinder to the gearbox.
* Install the clutch master cylinder on the firewall.
* Install the clutch line and bleed the system with new clutch fluid.
6. Installation of the gear selector and pedal assembly
* Install the new gear shifter and secure it.
* Install the new pedal unit and secure it.
* Connect the shift rods to the transmission.
7. Completion
* Install the battery.
* Lower the vehicle to the ground.
* Check the clutch fluid level and add if necessary.
* Check the operation of the clutch and gear shift mechanism.
Note:
* This procedure is complex and requires special tools and knowledge.
* It is recommended that it be carried out by a qualified mechanic or follow detailed instructions.
* After installation, it is necessary to professionally set the wheel alignment angle and check the clutch system.
