Job:

1. Inserting the key: The ignition key is inserted into the lock cylinder.
2. Turning the key: The key turns from the “Lock” to “Start” position, passing through intermediate positions:
* “Off” – turn off the ignition
* “Acc” – switch on accessories (radio, headlights)
* “On” – turn on the ignition
* “Start” – engine start

Additional features (for some models):

* Steering Shaft Lock: When the key is removed from the lock, the steering shaft is locked, preventing unauthorized use of the vehicle.

Maintenance Tips:

* Regularly lubricate the ignition switch with a special lock lubricant.
* Avoid using excessive force when inserting or turning the key.
* Do not leave the key in the ignition when leaving the vehicle.
