Materials:

* New automatic transmission filter
* Automatic transmission pan gasket
* Transmission fluid (as needed)
* Tool set

Instructions:

1. Remove the engine protection and automatic transmission pan:
— Unscrew the screws holding the engine protection and remove it.
— Unscrew the bolts around the perimeter of the automatic transmission pan and carefully remove the pan. Drain the oil into a prepared container.

2. Remove the old filter:
— Clean the pan from the remains of the old filter.
— Find the old filter and remove it from the automatic transmission housing.

3. Install a new filter:
— Make sure the surface of the filter housing is clean.
— Install the new filter into the housing, aligning it correctly.

4. Replace the pan gasket:
— Clean the surfaces of the pan and the automatic transmission housing from the old gasket.
— Install a new gasket on the pan.

5. Reinstall the tray:
— Lift the tray and place it in place. Tighten the bolts to the proper torque.
— Reinstall the engine protection.

6. Fill with transmission fluid (if necessary):
— If you also changed the transmission fluid, now is the time to refill it. Use the dipstick to check the fluid level.

7. Reset the error code (if any):
— If the error light comes on while replacing the filter, you need to reset the error code using an OBD2 scanner.

8. Check for leaks:
— Start the engine and check for transmission fluid leaks.

Adviсe:

*Use only the recommended type of filter and transmission fluid.
* Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
* Do not overtighten the bolts, otherwise this may damage the pan or automatic transmission housing.
