Location of the solenoid valve of the Hyundai Solaris automatic transmission:
1. Open the hood and find the automatic transmission control unit.
2. The control unit is usually located next to the right front suspension strut.
3. Locate the connector with wires coming from the transmission wiring harness to the control unit.
4. The solenoid valve will be located next to the connector.
Removing the solenoid valve of the Hyundai Solaris automatic transmission:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the solenoid valve.
3. Loosen the bolts securing the solenoid valve to the automatic transmission control unit.
