How to use the Hyundai Solaris automatic transmission:

1. Selector position selection:

* P (Park): Locks the transmission when the vehicle is parked.
* R (Reverse): Activates reverse gear.
* N (Neutral): Neutral position in which the transmission is not engaged.
* D (Drive): The primary driving mode for most conditions.
* L (Low): Low gear mode used when driving on steep slopes or towing a trailer.

2. Starting the engine:

* Make sure the selector lever is in the P or N position.
*Press the brake pedal.
* Start the engine.

3. Gear shift:

* Move the selector from P or N to the desired position.
*When shifting from P or N to D or R, light pressure on the brake pedal may be required.
* Do not attempt to switch to L mode while driving at high speed.

4. Kickdown mode:

* To accelerate quickly, press the accelerator pedal hard. The transmission will automatically shift to a lower gear.

5. Fuel economy:

*Use D mode for most driving conditions.

* Whenever possible, use cruise control on motorways.

6. Security:

* Always wear your seat belt.
* Avoid changing gears while driving unless required for safety.
* Do not leave the car with the engine running and gear engaged.
