Variations of automatic transmission illumination on Hyundai Getz:
Basic finish:
* There is no gearbox light.
Higher Finish:
* Static backlight: The gearbox is illuminated with a dim white light, constantly.
* Dynamic lighting (leather models only): The gearbox is illuminated with white light that automatically increases when the headlights are turned on.
Warning Lights:
* Red LED: Illuminates when the transmission is in ‘P’ (Park) position and the ignition is on.
*Green LED: Lights up when the gearbox is shifted from ‘P’ to another position.
Warnings depending on the selector lever position:
* Does not light up: The transmission is in ‘D’ (drive) or ‘N’ (neutral) position.
* Lights up (red): The gearbox is in ‘R’ (reverse) position.
* Lights up (green): The transmission is in ‘P’ (park) or ‘S’ (sport) position.
Note:
