Hyundai Creta automatic transmission modes

P (Parking)
* Locks the transmission to prevent the vehicle from moving. Used for parking a car.

R (Reverse)
* Engages reverse gear, allowing the vehicle to move backward.

N (Neutral)
* Separates the engine and transmission, allowing the vehicle to roll freely. Used to tow a car or roll it out of a parking space.

D (Drive)
* Basic driving mode, which automatically changes gears depending on vehicle speed and engine load.

S (Sport)
* Provides sportier dynamics by delaying gear changes at higher revs for increased power and acceleration.

L (Low)
*Used for driving up steep inclines or towing loads. Forces low gears to increase torque.

M (Manual)
* Allows the driver to manually change gears. The paddle shifters or gear lever can be used to upshift or downshift.

Descent Hold Control (DBC)
*Activated by pressing the DBC button on the center console. Helps control vehicle speed on steep descents by automatically applying the brakes.
