Gear selector (shift lever)

* P (Park) – Locks the transmission axle, preventing the vehicle from moving.
* R (Reverse) – Enables reverse gear.
* N (Neutral) – Turns off the gear, allowing the car to coast.
* D (Drive) – Standard driving mode that automatically changes gears.
* M (Manual Mode) – Allows the driver to manually change gears using the plus and minus buttons on the shift lever.
*S (Sport) – Holds lower gears for improved acceleration and responsiveness.

Other designations

* Shift Position Indicator – Displays the current selector position on the instrument panel.
* Gear Position Indicator – Displays the currently engaged gear on the instrument panel (available on some models only).
* “Sport” button – Turns on sports mode.
* “Snow” button – Optimizes transmission performance for slippery conditions (available on some models only).
* “Shift Lock” button – Allows you to move the gear selector from the park position without pressing the brake pedal.
