Required materials:

* New automatic transmission light bulbs (usually T10 or W5W)
* Phillips screwdriver
* Flathead screwdriver or toothpick

Instructions:

1. Set the vehicle to the parking brake.
2. Move the automatic transmission lever to the “Parking” position.
3. Find the automatic transmission illumination panel. It is usually located on the underside of the center console, under the automatic transmission lever.
4. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw(s) securing the backlight panel.
5. Carefully remove the lighting panel from the center console.
6. Locate and remove old backlight bulbs. Use a flathead screwdriver or toothpick to pry them in and out.
7. Insert new backlight bulbs into the sockets. Make sure they are securely fastened.
8. Reconnect the light panel to the center console.
9. Tighten the screws securing the backlight panel.
10. Check the automatic transmission illumination by switching the automatic transmission lever to different positions.

Adviсe:

* Use light bulbs with the same base type and wattage as the old ones.
* Be careful when working with electrical components. Disconnect the negative battery terminal before performing any electrical work.
* If the backlight panel does not light up after replacing the bulbs, check the fuses associated with the automatic transmission light.
