Required tools and materials:
* Set of keys
* Socket heads with a wrench or ratchet
* Torque wrench
* Bearing puller
* New differential bearing set
* Transmission sealant
Execution steps:
1. Raise the car and place it on stands.
2. Drain the transmission fluid.
3. Remove the axle shafts.
4. Remove the driveshaft.
5. Remove the bolts securing the differential to the transmission housing.
6. Carefully remove the differential from the housing.
7. Using a bearing puller, remove the old bearings from the differential.
8. Clean the bearing locations on the differential and housing.
9. Lubricate the new bearings with transmission oil.
10. Install new bearings onto the differential using a bearing puller.
11. Install the differential back into the transmission housing.
12. Torque the differential mounting bolts to specifications using a torque wrench.
13. Install the driveshaft.
14. Install the axle shafts.
15. Apply transmission sealant to the differential housing gasket.
16. Install the differential housing and tighten the bolts using a torque wrench.
17. Fill the transmission fluid to the required level.
Notes:
* Be sure to follow the specified specifications when tightening bolts. Tightening it too loosely or too tightly can cause damage.
*Use only high quality bearings designed for your specific vehicle.
* When installing the differential, make sure it is properly aligned and seated.
* After replacing the bearings, run the vehicle in to allow the new components to break in.
