When warming up an automatic transmission (AT) engine, follow these steps:

1. Start the engine:

* Turn the key to the “Ignition” position.
*Press the brake pedal and start the engine.

2. Wait 30 seconds:

* This will give the oil pump enough time to supply all components of the automatic transmission with oil.

3. Switch to Drive mode:

* While holding the brake pedal, move the automatic transmission selector to the “Drive” position.
* Release the brake pedal and allow the vehicle to move forward slowly.

4. Warm up the engine at idle speed:

* Leave the automatic transmission in the “Drive” position and allow the engine to idle for 5-7 minutes.
* This will warm up the gearbox and automatic transmission oil.

5. Start moving:

* Once the engine has warmed up sufficiently, start driving slowly and smoothly.
* Gradually increase speed until normal operating temperature.

Adviсe:

* Do not over-gas the engine while warming up.
* When driving at a speed of less than 30 km/h, switch the automatic transmission selector to the “Drive” or “2” position.
* Regularly check the level and condition of the automatic transmission oil.
* Follow the automatic transmission maintenance schedule recommended by the manufacturer.
