Automatic transmission modes in Nissan Terrano:

*P (Park): Keeps the vehicle in place while parked.
* R (Reverse): Activates reverse gear.
* N (Neutral): Disconnects the engine from the transmission.
* D (Drive): Basic driving mode for normal driving conditions.
* Ds (Sport Mode): Provides more responsive gear shifting for sporty driving.
* L (Low): Used to increase engine torque at low speeds or on steep grades.

Instructions for using the automatic transmission:

1. Press the brake pedal.
2. Move the gear shift lever to the desired mode.
3. Release the brake pedal.
4. Press the gas pedal to start driving.

Notes:

*Always engage Park (P) before turning off the engine.
* Do not change gears while driving unless it is safe to do so.
*If the vehicle is stuck in snow or mud, use L mode to increase torque.
* Do not tow the vehicle in Park (P) mode.
* To keep your transmission in good condition, change the transmission fluid regularly according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
