Method 1: Using Manual Shift Mode
1. Shift the gear lever to the “M” position (manual mode).
2. Use the steering wheel paddle shifters or the center console shift lever to change gears manually.
Method 2: Using the Downshift Function
1. Make sure the gear shift lever is in the «D» (Drive) position.
2. Press the downshift button (indicated as “-” or “D-”) on the gear shift lever or steering wheel.
3. The transmission will shift to a lower gear, allowing you to unlock the transmission.
Method 3: Restart the engine
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Shift the gear shift lever to the “P” (park) position.
3. Wait a few minutes.
4. Start the engine again.
5. The gearbox must be unlocked.
Method 4: Using Emergency Unlock
1. Locate the emergency transmission release lever. It is usually located under the shift lever housing.
2. Insert a key or screwdriver into the emergency lever and pull it out.
3. The gearbox must be unlocked.

*If you have trouble unlocking the transmission, contact a qualified mechanic.
* Do not use the emergency release more often than necessary as this may damage the transmission.
