Emergency unlocking of automatic transmission Ford Focus 2
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Press the brake pedal.
3. Move the automatic transmission selector to the “P” (park) position.
4. To unlock the transmission, insert the ignition key into the lock and turn it to the “ON” position. If the transmission does not unlock, continue to the next step.
5. Press and hold the automatic transmission unlock button (located next to the automatic transmission selector).
6. While continuing to hold the unlock button, move the automatic transmission selector to the “P” position again. The gearbox should unlock and you can shift into another position.
Note:
* The automatic transmission unlock button may differ depending on the year of manufacture and model of Ford Focus 2.
* If the transmission cannot be unlocked using any of the described methods, contact technical assistance.
