Possible signs of automatic transmission failure:

1. Problems with gear shifting

2. Extraneous noise and vibration
*Buzzing or buzzing sound while driving
* Vehicle vibration or shaking

3. Transmission fluid leaks

*Low transmission fluid level on dipstick

4. Check Engine light is on
* Illumination of the indicator may indicate problems with the transmission or other components affecting its operation.

5. Loss of power
* The transmission may slip or fail to transfer power to the wheels properly, resulting in loss of power and poor engine performance.

6. Overheating
* Excessive transmission overheating may damage internal components. This may manifest itself as a burning oil smell or excessive transmission fluid temperature.

7. Difficulty when reversing
*Difficulty or inability of the vehicle to move in reverse may indicate problems with the transmission or its components.

8. Not shifting gears
* The gear selector may not engage certain gears or the vehicle may not move regardless of the selected gear.

9. Damaged or leaking transmission fluid cooler
* The radiator cools the transmission fluid. Damage or leakage can lead to overheating and damage to the transmission.
