Step 1: Make sure the car is in Park mode (P)

* Press and hold the brake pedal.
* Locate the gear selector and make sure it is in P (Park).

Step 2: Insert the ignition key or press the start button

* Insert the ignition key into the ignition switch or press the start button.

Step 3: Press the gear selector unlock button (if equipped)

*Some vehicles have a gear selector release button, usually located near the gear selector.
*Press this button while holding down the brake pedal.

Step 4: Move the gear selector to the desired position

* While holding the brake pedal, move the gear selector to the desired position (usually D for drive or R for reverse).

Step 5: Release the brake pedal

*Once the gear selector is in the correct position, release the brake pedal.
* The car will start moving in the direction you selected.

Note:

*Always keep the brake pedal depressed when shifting the gear selector.
*If you are having trouble starting your car from park, check your brake fluid level or see a mechanic.
