Materials:

* 12mm wrench
* Flat head screwdriver
*If necessary: ​​new automatic transmission selector gasket

Instructions:

1. Remove the center console.

*Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the trim around the shift lever.
* Remove the screws that secure the center console and remove it.

2. Disconnect the automatic transmission selector cable.

* Locate the automatic transmission selector cable that runs from the gear lever to the gearbox.
* Disconnect the cable by pressing the button or clamping the ring.

3. Remove the gear shift lever.

* Unscrew the nut that secures the gear shift lever.
* Remove the gear shift lever along with the boot.

4. Remove the old automatic transmission selector.

* Press the latch and remove the automatic transmission selector lock.
* Remove the old automatic transmission selector.

5. Install a new automatic transmission selector.

* Place the new automatic transmission selector into the housing and secure it with the lock.

6. Install the gear shift lever.

* Place the gear shift lever on the automatic transmission selector and tighten the nut.

7. Connect the automatic transmission selector cable.

* Connect the automatic transmission selector cable by pressing the button or snapping the ring.

8. Install the center console.

* Reinstall the center console and tighten the screws.

9. Install the decorative trim.

* Install the trim around the gear shift lever.

10. Check the operation of the automatic transmission.

* Start the engine and check the gear shift.

* If you have difficulty setting up the automatic transmission selector, seek professional help.
*If you are replacing the automatic transmission selector gasket, make sure it is positioned correctly.
* Do not over-tighten the shift lever nut as this may damage the mechanism.
