Procedure:

1. Prepare the car:
* Place the vehicle on a level surface with the engine turned off and the parking brake turned off.
* Place the gear shift lever in neutral (N) position.

2. Find the automatic transmission selector:
*Located under the dashboard, above the steering column.

3. Loosen the selector bolt:
*Use a suitable socket wrench to loosen the bolt securing the selector to the shift shaft.

4. Align the selector:
* Make sure the gear shift lever is in neutral (N).
* Move the selector itself so that the positions “P”, “R”, “N”, “D” and “L” correspond to the actual positions of the gear lever.

5. Tighten the selector bolt:
*Use a socket wrench to tighten the selector bolt to the specified torque (usually about 10-15 Nm).

6. Check alignment:
* Move the gear shift lever through all positions, making sure that the selector exactly matches the actual positions.
*If the match is not perfect, repeat the alignment procedure.

7. Complete the procedure:
* Reinstall the instrument panel and automatic transmission selector cover.
* Start the engine and check if the gears shift correctly.

Adviсe:

* Make sure that all cables and connectors of the automatic transmission are securely connected.
*If you have difficulty aligning the selector, consult a professional mechanic.
*If the selector is not positioned properly, it may cause shifting problems or damage to the transmission.
