For Hyundai Solaris I (from 2010 to 2016)
1. Get into the car and turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine.
2. Press and hold the brake pedal for 10 seconds.
3. Release the brake pedal and press it again.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 3 times in a row.
5. Start the engine and let it idle for 1 minute.
6. Shift gears in the sequence: P-R-N-D-2-1-2-D-N-R-P.
7. Hold the brake pedal and move the gear selector to position “2”.
8. Hold the gear selector in position “2” for 10 seconds.
9. Release the gear selector and release the brake pedal.
10. Move the gear selector to position “D” and start driving.
For Hyundai Solaris II and III (from 2017)
1. Start the engine and warm it up to operating temperature.
2. Stop the vehicle on a level surface and place it in Park (P).
3. Turn off the engine and remove the key from the ignition.
4. Wait 30 seconds.
5. Reinsert the key into the ignition and turn the ignition on, but do not start the engine.
6. Press and hold the gas pedal for 30 seconds.
7. Turn off the ignition and remove the key.
8. Wait 30 seconds.
9. Start the engine and change gears in the sequence: P-R-N-D-2-1-2-D-N-R-P.
10. Drive the car for 15 minutes in various driving modes.
Notes:
* Make sure your car battery is fully charged.
* Do not interrupt the procedure at any stage.
*If the procedure is successful, the transmission should shift more smoothly.
* If resetting the adaptation does not resolve the problem, contact your mechanic.
