Battery disconnection method

1. Safety First: Make sure the vehicle is parked on a level surface, the engine is turned off, and the ignition key is removed.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal: Use a wrench to loosen the negative battery terminal bolt and disconnect it.
3. Leave it disconnected for 30 minutes: This will give the automatic transmission ECU time to reset.
4. Connect the negative battery terminal: Return the negative battery terminal to its place and tighten the bolt.

Engine restart method

1. Start the engine: Start the engine and let it idle for about 10 minutes.
2. Shifting gears: Shift gears in sequence (P, R, N, D, 2, L) several times in each gear.
3. Stopping the engine: Stop the engine and wait 30 seconds.
4. Repeat: Repeat steps 1-3 one more time.

Diagnostic scanner method

If you have access to a diagnostic scanner, you can reset the automatic transmission adaptation using it. Instructions may vary depending on your scanner type, so refer to your scanner’s user manual.

Notes:

* Allow the vehicle to cool down before resetting the adaptation. This will prevent the transmission from overheating.
*After resetting the adaptation, it may take some time for the automatic transmission to adapt to your driving style.
*If you are still experiencing transmission problems after resetting the adaption, take it to a qualified mechanic for diagnosis and repair.
