Using a diagnostic scanner:

1. Connect the diagnostic scanner to the vehicle.
2. Select the Transmission Control Module (TCM).
3. Find the “Reset Adaptation” or “Transmission Relearn” option.
4. Start the reset process.

Without diagnostic scanner:

1. Make sure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is idling.
2. Shift the gear selector to the “P” (park) position.
3. Press and hold the brake pedal.
4. Move the gear selector through all positions (P, R, N, D, M, S) with a pause of a second in each position.
5. Return the gear selector to position “P” and release the brake pedal.
6. Stop the engine and wait 30 seconds.
7. Start the engine and check whether the automatic transmission adaptation has been reset.

Note:

*Adaptation reset time may vary depending on the vehicle.
* It is not recommended to reset the automatic transmission adaptation too often, as this may lead to problems with gear shifting.
* If automatic transmission problems persist after resetting the adaptation, contact a qualified mechanic.
