Before you begin the repair, you will need the following tools and materials:

* Torque converter repair kit
* Transmission sealant
* New seals and bushings (if necessary)
* Balancing installation
* Transmission fluid

Repair instructions:

1. Removing the torque converter

* Disconnect the electrical connectors and transmission lines from the transmission.
* Remove the bolts or nuts securing the torque converter to the engine flywheel.
* Carefully remove the torque converter from the transmission.

2. Disassembling the torque converter

*Using the special tool, separate the front and rear torque converter covers.
* Remove the retaining ring that holds the clutch pack in place.
* Remove all clutches and steel plates.

3. Inspection and replacement of parts

* Carefully inspect all parts for wear, damage or breakage.
* Replace worn or damaged clutches, steel plates, bushings and seals.

4. Torque converter assembly

* Lubricate all seals with transmission sealant.
* Install new clutches and steel plates in the correct order.
* Install a new ring.
* Install the front and rear covers and tighten the bolts to the recommended torque.

5. Balancing the torque converter

* Install the torque converter on the balancing unit.
*Adjust counterweights to achieve balance.

6. Installation of the torque converter

* Lubricate the transmission input shaft with transmission sealant.
* Reinstall the torque converter.
* Install the bolts or nuts securing the torque converter to the flywheel.
*Tighten fasteners to the recommended torque.

7. Refilling with transmission fluid

*Add the specified amount of transmission fluid to the transmission.
* Check the fluid level and add if necessary.

Important:

*Use high quality repair parts.
* Observe the correct torque when tightening bolts and nuts.
*Transmission experience is required to perform this repair.
*If you do not have the proper equipment or skills, it is recommended that you have a professional mechanic repair your torque converter.
