Tools:
* Flat head screwdriver
Steps:
1. Move the gear shift lever to the park position.
2. Press the shift lever lock button (if equipped).
3. Take a flathead screwdriver.
4. Insert a screwdriver into the small slot on the back of the shift knob.
5. Press the locking tab with a screwdriver and pull the handle up.
Note:
*If the handle is too difficult to remove, you may not be pressing the locking tab hard enough.
*Sometimes you may need to gently rock the handle back and forth to remove it.
*Do not pull the handle too hard, otherwise you may damage the lock.
