Tools:
* Wrench set
*Long Nose Pliers
* Flat and Phillips head screwdrivers
Precautions:
* Disconnect the battery before starting work.
* Allow the gearbox to cool if it has been recently used.
*Work in a well-ventilated area.
* Wear gloves and safety glasses for safety.
Management:
1. Remove the oil pan:
* Place a container under the gearbox to drain the oil.
* Unscrew the oil pan bolts using a wrench.
* Carefully remove the oil pan and drain the oil.
2. Disconnect the drives from the gearbox flanges:
* Locate the bolts connecting the actuators to the transmission flanges.
* Unscrew these bolts with a wrench.
*Extend the actuators to clear them from the flanges.
3. Unscrew the bolts securing the drives to the hubs:
* Move the vehicle under a lift or jacks.
* Remove the wheels from both sides of the car.
* Locate the bolts holding the driveshafts to the hubs.
* Unscrew these bolts with a wrench.
4. Remove the drives from the hubs:
* Using long nose pliers, remove the retaining rings from the actuators.
* Carefully remove the drives from the hubs by rocking them from side to side.
5. Remove sealing seals:
* Using a flathead screwdriver, carefully remove the seals from the gearbox.
* Replace the seals with new ones.
6. Install new drives:
*Insert new drives into the hubs.
* Install new seals in the gearbox.
* Tighten the bolts securing the drives to the hubs.
7. Connect the drives to the gearbox flanges:
* Insert the drives into the gearbox flanges.
* Tighten the bolts connecting the actuators to the flanges.
8. Install the oil pan:
* Reinstall the oil pan and tighten its bolts.
9. Fill the gearbox with oil:
* Fill the gearbox with the required amount of gear oil.
10. Connect the battery and check the oil level:
* Connect the battery and start the engine.
* Let the engine run for a few minutes, then check the oil level and add if necessary.
