Required tools:

* Phillips screwdriver
* Flat head screwdriver
* 10 mm spanner

Instructions:

1. Disconnect the battery. Open the hood and remove the negative terminal from the battery to eliminate the risk of electric shock.

2. Remove the cup holders and console. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws securing the cup holders. Remove the cup holders and set them aside. Then use a flathead screwdriver to pry the front of the console up and pull it up to remove it.

3. Remove the trim around the gear lever. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws securing the trim around the gearshift lever. Remove the trim and set it aside.

4. Unscrew the two bolts securing the automatic transmission lining. Using a 10 mm spanner, unscrew the two bolts securing the automatic transmission trim to the console. The location of the bolts may vary slightly depending on the year of the vehicle.

5. Remove the automatic transmission trim. Carefully pull the transmission trim up and towards you to remove it from the console. You may need to wiggle the pad slightly to get it to come free.

6. Replace the automatic transmission lining (optional). If you are replacing an automatic transmission trim, align the new trim with the console and gently press it until it clicks into place.

7. Install all parts in reverse order. Reinstall the shift lever trim, console and cup holders. Tighten all screws and bolts.

8. Connect the battery. Connect the negative terminal to the battery and tighten it.

Adviсe:

* Be careful when prying and removing parts to avoid damaging them.
* If the transmission trim is difficult to remove, try using a flathead screwdriver to lightly press the latches that hold it in place.
*When removing the cup holders, you may need to press the release button to release them.
