Materials:

* Pliers or needle nose pliers

Procedure:

1. Place the gear shift lever in the Park (P) position.
2. Find the selector lever release button. It is usually located on the side or bottom of the gear lever.
3. Press the release button. It may be tight, so you may need to use pliers or needle nose pliers.
4. At the same time, pull the gear shift lever up. It should be easy to pull out of the center console.
