Materials:
*Long Nose Pliers
* Torx screwdriver T20 or T25
Steps:
1. Put the car on the parking brake.
2. Remove the decorative trim of the automatic transmission selector. Pull it up and towards you to release it from the latches.
3. Disconnect the connector of the automatic transmission selector control unit. Press the latch and pull out the connector.
4. Unscrew the two bolts securing the automatic transmission selector to the center console. They are located on both sides of the selector.
5. Lift the automatic transmission selector up. This will free it from the selector cable.
6. Disconnect the selector cable from the automatic transmission selector. Press the latch and remove the cable.
7. Now you can completely remove the automatic transmission selector.
Adviсe:
* Be careful not to damage wiring or other components.
* When installing a new automatic transmission selector, make sure it is properly aligned and securely fastened.
*You may need to reset the transmission after installing a new selector.
