Steps:

1. Disconnect the battery terminal:

* Locate the battery terminal at the negative terminal (-).
* Using a wrench or ratchet, loosen the nut and remove the terminal from the pole.

2. Remove the plastic cover:

* Underneath the automatic transmission selector, locate two plastic covers that are held in place with Phillips screws.
* Remove the screws and covers.

3. Loosen the bolt:

* Under the left plastic cover you will see a bolt holding the automatic transmission selector.
*Using a socket wrench or ratchet, loosen, but do not completely remove, the bolt.

4. Press the unlock button:

* To the right of the automatic transmission selector there is a small unlock button.
* Press and hold this button.

5. Move the selector to position N:

* While holding the unlock button, move the automatic transmission selector to the N (neutral) position.

6. Unscrew the bolt and remove the selector:

* Unscrew the bolt holding the selector until the end.
* Lift the selector up and remove it.

Adviсe:

*If you find it difficult to remove the selector, try rocking it slightly from side to side until it comes out.
* Be careful not to lose the spring located under the selector lever.
*When installing a new selector, make sure it is properly aligned and fully tightened.
*After installing the selector, reconnect the battery terminal.
