Required tools:

* Socket wrench (12 mm)
* Hex key (6mm)

Instructions:

1. Set the vehicle to Park mode (P).
2. Open the hood and disconnect the minus (-) terminal of the battery.
3. Locate the gear shift lever under the hood. It is located on the gearbox, which is located on the right side of the engine.
4. Loosen the nuts holding the lever in place using a 12mm socket wrench. There are two nuts: one on the top and one on the bottom of the lever.
5. Remove the top nut completely.
6. Loosen the bottom nut halfway.
7. Using a 6mm hex wrench, remove the two bolts holding the shift cable.
8. Slide the shift cable out of place and gently pull it to the side.
9. Raise the gear shift lever. It should slide off the shift shaft easily.

Adviсe:

* Be careful when removing the lever as the spring may jump out and hit you.
*After you have removed the lever, cover the hole on the gearbox with a rag or plug to prevent debris from getting inside.
* Installation of the gear shift lever is carried out in reverse order.

Warning:

* Performing this procedure requires certain qualifications. If you are unsure of your abilities, consult a qualified mechanic.
* Always disconnect the battery terminal before performing any work on the vehicle.
