Materials:

* Rags
* Flat head screwdriver
* Phillips screwdriver

Instructions:

1. Prepare the vehicle: Place the vehicle in park, set the parking brake and turn off the ignition.

2. Remove the gear selector housing:
– Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry up the plastic plug at the base of the selector and remove it.
– Unscrew the Phillips screws under the plug.
– Lift the selector housing and disconnect the backlight power connector.

3. Disconnect the lock button:
– Press the lock button on the end of the handle.
– Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry it off and remove it.

4. Unscrew the handle fastening:
– There is a plastic nut under the handle.
– Unscrew the nut with a wrench or pliers.

5. Remove the handle:
– Gently pull the handle up to remove it from the selector rod.
– Disconnect the electrical connector from the handle, if present.

Adviсe:

*Be careful not to scratch the car’s finish.
*If the handle nut is tight, use WD-40 or other lubricant to loosen it.
* When installing a new handle, make sure the nut is tightened securely.
