Materials:

*Torx T27 screwdriver
*Microfiber cloth

Steps:

1. Make sure the gear shift lever is in the Park (P) position.
2. Pry off the plastic cover around the base of the shift knob using a T27 Torx screwdriver.
3. Remove the cover.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector at the rear of the shift knob by pressing the latch and removing the connector.
5. Carefully pull the shift knob up and off the shaft.

Adviсe:

* Be careful when removing the cover to avoid damaging it.
* Make sure the electrical connector is completely disconnected before removing the shift knob.
*If the shift knob is tight, you can gently rock it from side to side to loosen it.

Installing a new automatic transmission handle:

1. Follow the steps above in reverse order.
2. Make sure the electrical connector is securely connected.
3. Snap the plastic cover into place.
4. Check the operation of the gear shift knob by switching between all positions.
