Materials:
* 5 mm hexagon
Instructions:
1. Set the automatic transmission handle to the “Parking” position (P).
2. Remove the panel around the automatic transmission handle. Using a flat head screwdriver or a credit card, carefully pry the panel away from the edges.
3. Find the bolt under the automatic transmission handle. The bolt is located in a recess at the top of the handle base.
4. Unscrew the bolt using a 5mm hexagon.
5. Carefully pull up the automatic transmission handle to remove it. The handle may be tight, so pry it loose with a screwdriver or other tool if necessary.
Adviсe:
* Be careful not to scratch the automatic transmission handle or surrounding surfaces.
*If the bolt is rusty or difficult to remove, use a penetrating lubricant.
*When installing the handle back, use a new bolt or add some thread locker to the old bolt.
