Required tools:
* Small flathead screwdriver
Instructions:
1. Place the gear shift lever in the “Park” position.
2. Remove the plastic cover on the automatic transmission handle. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the gap between the cover and the handle body and carefully pry it off.
3. Unscrew the screw under the plastic cover. To do this, use a suitable screwdriver and unscrew the screw counterclockwise.
4. Remove the automatic transmission handle. Gently pull the handle up and disconnect it from the shift rod.

*If the handle does not come off easily, check to see if the screw is stuck.
* Be careful not to scratch the shift knob body or shift rod.
* When installing a new handle, make sure it is compatible with your car model and tighten the screw securely.
