Tools:
* 10mm wrench or socket wrench
Steps:
1. Turn off the ignition and put the car in park.
2. Move away the gear shift cover. Pull the cover upward slightly to release it.
3. Unscrew the bolt securing the gear shift knob. The bolt is located under the casing. Use a 10mm wrench or socket wrench to remove the bolt.
4. Remove the gear shift knob. While holding the release button on the handle (if equipped), pull it up to remove it.
Adviсe:
*If the shift knob is stuck, try moving it slightly from side to side before pulling.
* Do not use excessive force when removing the handle, as this may damage the gear shift mechanism.
*When installing a new shift knob, make sure it is aligned correctly.
* Tighten the shift knob bolt to finger-tight plus 1/2 turn.
