Materials:
* Wrench set
* Flat wrench
* Phillips screwdriver
Steps:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. This will cut off the power to the automatic transmission, making it safe to operate.
2. Remove the decorative solenoid cover. It is usually secured with plastic clips or bolts.
3. Label the solenoid wires. This will help you connect them correctly during installation.
4. Disconnect the solenoid electrical connectors. They are usually held in place by latches. Press the latch and pull the connector to disconnect it.
5. Remove the bolts securing the solenoids. To do this you will need a wrench or socket wrench.
6. Remove the solenoids from the automatic transmission housing. Gently pull them until they come out of the guides.
Adviсe:
* When disconnecting electrical connectors, do not pull on the wires. Use pliers or a screwdriver to release the latches.
* If the solenoids are stuck, tap them lightly with a hammer.
* Be careful not to damage the gaskets on the solenoids when installing.
* Make sure all bolts are securely tightened after installing the solenoids.
* Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
