Required tools and materials:

* Ratchet wrench
*Socket set
* Oil filter wrench
* Container for draining transmission fluid
* New transmission fluid (about 6 l)
* New automatic transmission oil filter
* New automatic transmission pan gasket
* New automatic transmission drain plug (optional)
*Transmission lift or jack
* Car stands
* Safety belts

Procedure:

1. Preparation:

* Park the car on a level surface.
* Warm up the car so that the transmission fluid becomes thinner.
* Raise the car using a lift or jack.
* Place stands under the car for safety.

2. Draining transmission fluid:

* Locate the automatic transmission drain hole at the bottom of the transmission housing.
* Place a container under the drain hole.
* Unscrew the drain plug using a wrench and allow the liquid to drain completely.

3. Removing the cooling oil line:

* Find the automatic transmission cooling oil line going to the radiator.
* Remove the two bolts securing the oil line to the automatic transmission and radiator.
* Plug open holes in the oil line and radiator.

4. Removing the driveshaft:

* Find the driveshaft connecting the automatic transmission to the rear differential.
* Mark the position of the driveshaft on the automatic transmission flange relative to the rear differential flange for correct installation later.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the driveshaft to the automatic transmission and rear differential flanges.
* Remove the driveshaft.

5. Disconnecting electrical connectors:

* Locate the electrical connectors going to the automatic transmission.
* Disconnect all connectors.

6. Disconnecting the gear shift cable:

* Locate the shift cable going to the control lever in the interior.
* Disconnect the cable from the control lever on the automatic transmission.

7. Removing the automatic transmission pan:

* Find the bolts securing the automatic transmission pan to the transmission housing.
* Remove all bolts.
* Gently tap the tray to release it from the body.
* Remove the pan and drain the remaining transmission fluid.

8. Removing the automatic transmission oil filter:

* Find the automatic transmission oil filter in the pan.
* Unscrew the filter using an oil filter wrench.
* Install a new oil filter.

9. Installing the automatic transmission pan gasket:

* Remove the old gasket from the pan and automatic transmission housing.
* Install a new gasket on the pan.

10. Installing the automatic transmission pan:

* Install the pan on the automatic transmission housing and tighten the bolts.

11. Attaching the gear shift cable:

* Attach the shift cable to the control lever on the automatic transmission.

12. Connecting electrical connectors:

* Connect all electrical connectors to the automatic transmission.

13. Installing the cardan shaft:

* Install the driveshaft to the flanges of the automatic transmission and rear differential in the previously marked position.
* Tighten the bolts.

14. Cooling oil pipe connection:

* Connect the cooling oil line to the automatic transmission and radiator.
* Tighten the bolts.

15. Filling with transmission fluid:

* Fill the automatic transmission with new transmission fluid.
*Use a funnel and pour in about 5 liters of liquid.
* Check the fluid level using the level indicator on the automatic transmission.

16. Starting the engine and checking the fluid level:

* Lower the vehicle from a lift or jack.
* Start the engine and let it idle.
* Shift the transmission to all positions and return to Park.
* Check the fluid level on the automatic transmission dipstick. Add fluid if necessary.

17. Final check:

* Test drive the car.
* Check for transmission fluid leaks.
