Instructions for removing the automatic transmission from the parking lot:

1. Press the brake pedal. This will disable the shift lock.

2. Move the gear shift lever to the “N” (neutral) position. To do this, first press the shift lock button (usually located on the shift lever). Then move the lever to the “N” position.

3. Start the engine.

4. Make sure the gear shift lever is in the “N” position. This is important because starting the engine with the shift lever in P (Park) can damage the transmission.

5. Press the “P” button on the gear shift lever. This unlocks the parking mechanism.

6. Move the gear shift lever to the desired position. For example, “D” (forward) or “R” (reverse).

7. Slowly release the brake pedal. The car will start moving in the selected gear.

Note:

* Do not remove the car from parking if the brake pedal is not pressed.
*If you are unable to remove your vehicle from parking, contact a qualified mechanic for assistance.
* Do not park on a slope with the gear shift lever in the “N” position. This may cause the vehicle to roll away.
