Materials:
* Set of socket wrenches
* Screwdriver
* Hub nut wrench
* Screwdriver-mount
Instructions:
1. Preparation:
* Place the vehicle on a level surface and secure it with the parking brake.
* Disconnect the battery by disconnecting the negative cable.
2. Removing the wheel and hub:
* Loosen the hub nuts, but do not remove them completely.
* Raise the car using a jack.
* Remove the wheel.
* Unscrew the hub nuts and remove the hub.
3. Removing the brake caliper:
* Disconnect the ABS sensor electrical connector from the caliper.
* Remove the bolts securing the caliper to the steering knuckle.
* Remove the caliper and hang it on a wire or secure it to the steering knuckle so that it does not interfere with operation.
4. Removing the brake disc:
* Unscrew the bolts securing the brake disc to the hub and remove the disc.
5. Removing the drive oil seal:
* Clean the area around the drive seal.
* Pry up the seal with a screwdriver and remove it.
6. Removing the CV joint:
* Make sure the CV joint is in its outermost position.
* Insert a pry bar screwdriver between the drive shaft and the transmission housing and carefully pull the drive shaft out of the transmission.
* Pull the drive shaft to remove the inner CV joint from the transmission housing.
7. Removing the boot clamp:
* If the CV joint does not come out, use a screwdriver to remove the boot clamp.
* Carefully slide the boot off the outer CV joint to gain access to the CV ring.
8. Removing the hundredth ring:
* Use pliers or a screwdriver to remove the ring from the drive shaft.
9. Disassembling the CV joint:
* Holding the CV joint in one hand, tap the inner tripod with a hammer to loosen it from the drive shaft.
* Gently pull the inner tripod to remove it from the drive shaft.
10. Removing a worn grenade:
* Remove the worn grenade from the internal tripod.
Adviсe:
* Use CV joint lubricant during assembly.
* Do not allow dirt to enter the gearbox during disassembly and assembly.
