Registering the automatic transmission control unit
Prerequisites:
* OBDII scanner
* Scanning software
* Data for replacing the automatic transmission control unit
Instructions:
1. Make sure the unit is compatible:
*Check that the model and specifications of the new automatic transmission control unit are compatible with your vehicle.
2. Connect the OBDII scanner:
* Connect the OBDII scanner to the vehicle’s diagnostic connector.
3. Launch the scanning software:
* Launch the scanning software and select the model and year of your car.
4. Select transmission section:
* Go to the “Transmission” or “Automatic Transmission” section in your scanning software.
5. Select the block registration function:
* In the transmission section, find the “Control unit registration” function or similar.
6. Enter block replacement data:

7. Start the prescribing process:
*Follow the instructions on the scanner screen to begin the prescribing process.
8. Reset adaptation values:
* After the control unit has been registered, it may be necessary to reset the automatic transmission adaptation values. Follow the instructions in the software to reset the adaptations.
9. Complete the process:
* Complete the process of writing and resetting adaptation values by following the instructions on the scanner screen.
10. Test drive:
* After completing the registration process, take it for a test drive to check that the automatic transmission control unit is operating correctly.
