Steps to remove the handbrake on an automatic transmission:

1. Make sure the vehicle is in Park (P) position.
2. Press the brake pedal. This must be done to unlock the gear shift system.
3. Move the gear shift lever to the neutral (N) position.
4. Take your foot off the brake pedal.
5. Press the handbrake button or lever. This will release the handbrake.
6. Grasp the steering wheel.
7. Gradually release the brake pedal.
8. Press the accelerator pedal. The car will start moving.

Adviсe:

* Always put the car on the handbrake when it is parked.
* Do not release the handbrake until the vehicle is in park or neutral.
* If the handbrake does not release, consult a mechanic.
*If you are driving a vehicle with a manual transmission, first press the clutch pedal and then move the gearshift lever to neutral.
