Running in the automatic transmission after repair

Step 1: First 100 km (60 miles)

* Avoid sudden acceleration or braking.
* Shift between gears smoothly, without jerking.
* Avoid driving at high speeds.
* Drive most of the time at 40-80 km/h (25-50 mph).

Step 2: Next 200 km (120 miles)

* Gradually increase speed and rpm to 2000-2500 rpm.
* Perform short accelerations (10-15 seconds) and decelerations.
* Avoid overheating the automatic transmission by taking breaks every 30-45 minutes of driving.

Step 3: Next 500 km (300 miles)

* Continue to gradually increase speed and rpm.
* Perform light towing (if possible).
* Make sure that the automatic transmission operates smoothly and without vibration.

Step 4: Final Stage (after 800 km/500 miles)

*Resume normal driving habits.
* Continue to monitor the operation of the automatic transmission under various operating conditions.

Additional tips:

* Use high quality automatic transmission oil recommended by the manufacturer.
* Check the automatic transmission oil level a few days after use and again after approximately 1000 km (600 miles).
* Follow the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations for automatic transmission oil change intervals.
* If you notice any unusual noises, vibrations or leaks, contact a repair shop immediately.
